THE E.D.G.E. (Envision Development & Goals Experience) PROGRAM:
We started our son in the E.D.G.E program after we had tried various interventions. It wasn't until he started working with Envision that we saw significant growth in all areas. This included his schoolwork, his attitude and his overall behavior. We even received calls from several of his teachers letting us know what a dramatic improvement they had seen as well. This was the first positive feedback we had received from a teacher in a long time. It is such a wonderful, positive program that another family member has decided to enrich their life in different areas with the help of Envision. We highly recommend and endorse the Envision Individual Development Program. We believe that anyone and everyone of all ages can benefit from such a program.

The Envision Development & Goals Program has been an experience that is almost impossible to put into words. So to describe what the program has done for me, I think you should know where I was, where I am and where I plan to go. Losing weight is something that I have struggled with my entire life. I can remember from the young age of 12 starting weight loss programs, as a senior in high school taking prescription weight loss pills, then binge eating in college. Obviously none of these plans worked because they were only a short-term remedy for a much bigger problem. Finally at the age of 27 (almost 28) I decided enough was enough. My weight had gotten completely out of control and I was a 295 pound miserable young professional. I was on blood pressure medication, had difficulty breathing from walking up one flight of stairs and my life was nowhere I had hoped it to be. The time came when I had to make a change. I knew I had bigger issues than not eating the right food and not working out on a regular basis, but I didn't know how to unveil those issues and once I did, how to deal with them. THIS IS WHERE THE ENVISION PROGRAM CHANGED MY LIFE. I had made a personal commitment to be healthier, but I soon learned that food was merely a single layer of my unhealthy habits and I had to focus on the whole picture. Envision is a program set up for each individual and that is why I believe it is so successful. We are all so different, but for people that are physically unhealthy I believe it is the perception that our struggles are one in the same that make it that much more frustrating. Envision was and is the tool that makes me pull back the life layers of bad habits, hurtful relationships and amazing accomplishments I forgot about because all I could see was that I was still overweight. Envision provides me encouragement and is a reminder that I can do this…that I can be a healthy person on the inside and out! From the insightful articles, to the creative weekly assignments that allow you to focus on specific change, to the structured food journals that hold you accountable for what you put in your body…all are components that the Envision program provides. I am proud to say as of today Sunday September 21st, 2008 I currently weigh 212 pounds. Yes that is a total of 83 pounds lost! Please don't think it is something that happened over night, as the process has taken over 7 months and I am still not finished. My personal goal is to lose an additional 50 pounds, which will put me in the 160 -170 pound range. Please believe this...I would not be having the success I have today had it not been for Envision.
Lindsay Carlton
I wrote the check and a feeling of guilt came over me... had I been impulsive again? Another check for hundreds of dollars I've spent so many times in the past? So many failed attempts and so much money wasted. Each check written leading me back to the same place - somewhere in the future spending more money on the thought... the impulse... the embedded false commitment that this time, I'm really going to do it. I have to at least try, right?
I completed my assessment, received my notebook, and began the Envision journey. In addition to the doubt of success, I had now realized with the homework and accountability of my notebook, I would at least have to work to fail - or work to succeed.
Yes, it was work, but with Envisions holistic approach, I was forced to focus on myself and my personal triggers, not just my narrowed approach to losing weight. I realized, losing weight was not the goal – changing my personal life was the goal - losing weight was a by-product, a bonus, to a healthier lifestyle. This realization came with many hours on the treadmill and sweat at the gym. Make no mistake, I hate the treadmill to this day - but the benefit of a new found confidence far outweighs the miles run.
Finally, it had clicked. Ironically, I didn't even realize when it happened. Instinctively I started ordering healthier food. Instinctively I had a desire to go get on the treadmill. Instinctively, I found myself thinking about my day, my week, and when I would run if my routine were out of the ordinary. Instinctively, I found myself packing workout clothes and shoes when packing for vacation. And my greatest joy yet - maybe not quite instinctively, but Im getting there - a new found confidence in my body - specifically my body image. For the first time in my life, there more times than not when I feel proud of how I look, and more importantly how I live. There is no greater feeling.

TEAMBUILDING TESTIMONIAL:
The “TREAD” program that Kelly introduced to our team was executed on sound fundamentals of building highly effective teams. Her initial task was identifying and assessing the unique challenges of each individual. In working with each individual, she gave them techniques and skills to function more effectively within our group. Our team experienced measurable personal growth under Kelly’s leadership. She is a great model for strength of character, goal setting and striving for results yet possesses a unique ability to be compassionate and draw upon a broad scope of motivational techniques. Kelly Wight is an absolute pro at helping people better themselves emotionally, physically and psychologically.

Kelly Wight provided a wonderful team building experience for my students. For our aviation study, Kelly worked directly with my students to give them a real world experience. During her visit she not only taught my students about aviation, but she also incorporated important life skill lessons. She taught them the importance of team building, hard work, and contribution in the work place. The students engaged in several activities with Kelly that enhanced their perception of these skills. Kelly’s visit exceeded my expectations because my students learned beyond the parameters of aviation. They learned how to work together to achieve a goal. After her visit my students continued to reenact activities that Kelly brought to the class. They even named our class pet after her! Kelly really made a wonderful impact on my class.

PERSONAL TRAINING:
It is rare in life to come across a person who is doing exactly what they were meant to do. Some call this a calling, others say that the person is in their element; still others call it a perfect fit. Kelly Wight is one of these persons. She has the perfect storm of life experience, personality, gravitas, knowledge, and wisdom. All of these combine making a training session with her so much more than just a workout. Her demeanor puts all of her clients at ease. She is engaged through the whole workout. She has an instant read on a person so she knows when to push and when not too. Her brainchild, Envision, is a logical next step in providing a ‘workout’ for, not just the body, but one’s aspirations and goals too. Kelly and her team at Envision can show you a path to a healthier more satisfying life. At worst you’ll shed a few pounds and feel better. At best, she’ll change your life. She saved mine.

Kelly is an exceptional trainer. She is devoted not only to developing the body but also to the development of healthy lifestyles. Her proactive, positive training techniques are fun yet challenging. Her resources on health and fitness are limitless. In the past we have had a real problem with committing to exercise. She is the first trainer that has kept us on track or made us want to stay on track for that matter. We truly can't say enough great things about her. 3 sessions and you are hooked. Trust me. My entire family is now on the program. I could go on and on but I have already gone over my 5 lines. Just do it!!!!

Just over a year ago I finally decided to commit to a healthier lifestyle. In addition to nutritional changes I knew I had to incorporate an exercise plan. I had always been very self-conscious about working out in a gym so to help make me more comfortable and to keep me accountable, I sought a personal trainer. How fortunate for me to find Kelly! She immediately got to know the things I enjoyed and the areas where I needed extra motivation. No two workouts have ever been the same. As our sessions progressed, I began to not only reshape my body, but to sleep better and even eliminate work stresses. Instead of dreading the gym, it became a 'destination'! I lost 3 pant sizes in one year. The most important accomplishment is that my one-dimensional physical goal of losing weight was transformed into a multifaceted lifestyle plan. I could not have made it this far without Kelly's positive direction and I can't imagine doing this without her!
